Welcome to my online studio! Drawing comic art has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I never expected to quit my corporate job to pursue art, but I am grateful to now be able to build a career out of it. Looking forward to sharing more art with you. Thank you for being here! Growing up in the 90's I drew Batman every chance I could. Inspired by all the Batman cartoons, films, comics and toys of the era, I quickly fell in love with Batman and comics, and I drew what I knew. Before High School, my passion for art started to fade, until I read a Batman comic illustrated by Jim Lee, now my all-time favourite artist. I was in awe. Captivated by the detail of his work, I felt inspired to take mine to the next level. After High school my passions grew to include competitive Ballroom dance, and I decided to pursue dance teaching as a career, instead. I ended up growing out of that years later and fell back on regular jobs to survive, while creating art part-time. While working my way up the corporate ladder, I also worked to sell more artwork on the side. Eventually, I decided to quit my safe office job and pursue comic art full-time.  It has been a thrilling, risky and scary journey, but also fun and rewarding. You learn a lot about yourself when you are left to survive by your skillset, especially when that skillset is non-essential in a pandemic. You get tested and you don't know if you'll come out of the fire unscathed. I would not be the same person I am today without my art, and I am very grateful for that. My hope is that others might be encouraged to follow their own dreams, while we still have time left here on Earth, despite how scary that may seem.
